Every item shown in the catalogue has passed curation, and every dollar you pay is held by a neutral third party until the item actually arrives. Here's the full flow.
Real photos, an honest description, and proof of authenticity (receipt/box/grading certificate) are submitted through the seller dashboard.
Manually checked: whether photos match the description, authenticity indicators, and whether the price is reasonable, before it's approved to go live.
Items that pass get a unique certificate number (format YM-2026-xxxx) whose validity you can check below.
Once it's live in the catalogue, every transaction for it is automatically protected by our escrow system — see the flow below.
Every item is manually reviewed by Take It.'s internal curation team before it goes live in the catalogue — not a fully automated process. This team is responsible for matching the photos, description, and proof of authenticity submitted by the seller.
Note: curator profiles & photos will be added here as the team grows — transparency about who curates is part of the trust we want to build.
