📜 General Terms 🛒 Buyer Terms 🏷️ Seller Terms

01Submitting & Verifying Items

  • Every item must pass YourMarketplace curation before it goes live: your own photos, an honest description, and proof of authenticity (receipt, box, grading certificate, and so on).
  • Items that pass receive a unique YourMarketplace certificate number. A misleading description is a serious breach.
  • YourMarketplace may reject or take down an item without giving detailed reasons.

02Shipping Obligations

  • Ship the item within 48 hours (2×24 business hours) of being notified that the funds have entered escrow.
  • You must use a courier with tracked shipping, and insurance for high-value items.
  • Pack securely: high-value items require double bubble wrap plus a rigid box. Record a packing video — it protects you.

03Payouts & Fees

  • Funds are released to your account once the Buyer confirms receipt (or the confirmation window closes with no complaint).
  • YourMarketplace charges a transaction commission of 3%–10% of the sale price, deducted directly from your payout. The exact percentage is set by YourMarketplace (it can differ by category, store badge — e.g. Founding Seller or Verified — or membership status) and is shown before your item goes live. There are no hidden deductions beyond that.

04Penalties

  • Selling counterfeit goods: permanent account freeze, funds withheld, and possible legal action.
  • Being found to have given a false or misleading description, condition, or authenticity claim about an item you sold: you are fined an amount set by YourMarketplace based on the transaction value and the loss suffered by the Buyer, AND the Buyer is refunded in full (100%) for that transaction. Repeat breaches lead to a permanent account freeze.
  • Shipping late without notice: a warning; repeated cases lead to account restriction.
  • Cancelling unilaterally after funds have entered escrow: a reputation penalty.
