Jewellery is judged on the material (gold, silver, and so on), the condition, and proof of authenticity from an authorised retailer.

01

New · Certified

Never worn, with a receipt or certificate from an authorised retailer stating the material purity and weight.

02

Preloved — Excellent Condition

Worn, but with no scratches or deformation, and the material has kept its shine.

03

Preloved — Needs Attention

Scratched or dulled and in need of re-polishing, but the material and structure are still sound.

💡 Tip for sellers: State the material purity (18K gold or 925 silver, for example) and include a photo of the hallmark if there is one — it is the easiest proof of authenticity for a buyer to verify.
